RFCC GOLFING NEWS:
The RFCC 2005 Club Championships were completed September 25 with Paul Sciullo II defeating John Clark, 1-up after 20 holes, for the championship flight.
The first flight was won by Jim Lawson, winning 1-up over Ted Artkowsky, while the second flight winner was Steve Rove defeating Steve Klein. It was a great tournament with matches requiring sudden death holes, to determine winners.
Congratulations to all three winners and the entire field who played in our Club Championship.
The format for the 2006 Club Champions will be changed, and new flights will be added for Women, Juniors, and Seniors.
Sunday August 14, Jim DeVita and Tom Williams (shown here celebrating in the Grille Room with Mrs. DeVita) won the Member/Member Tournament

Saturday, August 6, 2005.
Cheryl White scores a perfect hole-in-one at River Forest Country Club on the 8th hole.

The River Forest house leagues are looking to recruit new members for 2006. The RFCC leagues are played on Monday through Thursday evenings and are a great opportunity to play competitively and also to meet other RFCC members. Various leagues consist of as few as sixteen members to thirty-two members, and play weekly nine hole matches starting as early as 4:00 P.M. or at 5:00 P.M. depending on the league. The leagues alternate front and back nines each week. At the end of the season, there is a special outing with prizes and dinner, which is customized to the various leagues. We are currently seeking new members to join in on the action for 2006. River Forest can administer the golf league handicap and matches, and will post schedules and results on the RFCC League website.
Anyone who is interested may contact Tim Conroy in the Pro Shop (724 -295-2217) for availability to play on selected evenings
